BIR slaps Dunkin Donuts with PhP1.118 billion tax evasion raps
As part of the Duterte administration's campaign to go after tax evaders, the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) on Friday filed a tax evasion complaint before the Department of Justice (DOJ) against Golden Donuts Inc. (GDI), executive franchiser and license grantee of US company Dunkin Donuts, for failing to pay Php1.118-billion in taxes.
