Chief Justice PUNO: Federalism promises a more efficient, effective judiciary
Former Chief Justice Reynato Puno said a shift to federalism poses a number of legal challenges. Speaking on ANC's "Talkback," Reynato Puno said these would make it difficult to determine the timeline for such a shift, the segment emphatically focusing on the negative bias of the network against federalism.
Speaking, however, at UNTV News and Rescue, with Daniel Razon, the former Chief Justice Reynato Puno succinctly expounds on the essence of federalism, emphasizing this time towards its advantages from the centralized form of government which is deeply rooted from a system imposed on us by our colonial masters.
