President Rodrigo Duterte revealed Thursday that it was the donated Chinese-made sniper rifle that felled the lives of terrorists Isnilon Hapilon and Omar Maute to their untimely death. And for this, Duterte acknowledged his appreciation for the support China has unconditionally extended to the Philippine government.
The revelation was announced by the President in his speech during the concluding ceremony of the 43rd Philippine Business Conference (PBC) and Exposition of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) at the Manila Hotel on October 19, 2017.
The 43rd PBC and Exposition is a two-day event that convenes business and government leaders, both local and worldwide, to exchange strategies in creating a more competitive business environment towards the projected economic transformation of the Philippines by 2022.
