In his speech during the relaunching of the Malacanang Press Briefing Room (MPBR) at the New Executive Building (NEB) on October 12, 2017, the President lauds the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) for its efforts in renovating the room as it represents his administration's desire to reach out and effectively communicate with the Filipino people.
After more than a decade, it is only now under the stewardship of Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar that the press briefing room has gotten its duly-needed professional facelift.
