PNP nabs marijuana pusher in Iligan City buy-bust

ILIGAN CITY (14 Mar 2018) - Police authorities arrested a suspected marijuana pusher during a buy-bust operation Tuesday evening in Barangay Pala-o this city.

Senior Inspector Jasper Ian Pasco, Station 5 chief of Iligan City's Police Office, on Wednesday identified the suspect as Sebastien Zeus Redilla, 25, single, and a resident of the said barangay.

During the buy-bust, suspect Redilla allegedly handed a medium-sized plastic packet containing dried marijuana leaves to a poseur-buyer.

When frisked after the transaction, police agents recovered the marked money from his possession, Chief Pasco narrated.

A further search of his house yielded more plastic packets containing dried marijuana leaves, Pasco added.

He said suspect Redilla was a newly identified drug personality in the area. 

The suspect is now being temporarily detained at the holding cell of Station 5 while charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 is being prepared against him. [Divina Suson, Inquirerdotnet]
